If I could rate a 10 stars I would, in a heartbeat. This place is awesome. First time I called, receptionist/staff Jenny puts me at ease. She was very patient & knowledgeable. The staff from Dr. Tawil, Priscilla, Cristina, Rachel, Patrick are all so welcoming, kind, and knows what they’re doing on my overall healing. The place is so clean, lots of parking even on the street. They have all these latest equipments aligned with one’s therapy. Tawil physical therapy has wonderful and professional staff. Dr Tawil is a very experienced and compassionate physical therapist. She goes out of her way to help you get better. She helped me come up with a specific plan to discover and pinpoint exactly what my health problems were. Her treatment to my shoulder tears in my rotator cuff has helped me tremendously reducing pain and improving mobility. Highly recommended.

Everyone at Dr. Tawil's practice is so sweet and patient. Jenny at the desk is so informative and goes above and beyond to make sure you know all your benefits and options. Dr. Tawil and Raquel are so positive and have made my PT journey as smooth as possible. I came in terrified after a surgery for a broken elbow, and now a few months later I'm almost back to my normal everyday life. It wouldn't be possible without everyone who helped me at Tawil Physical Therapy. Dr. Tawil is hands down top tier Physical Therapy! From initial visit she truly understood the task at hand. I was in excruciating pain not able to perform daily household duties etc and at the end of my treatment I was outside shoveling snow!!!! I HIGHLY recommend Dr. Tawil 10/10. I received physical therapy from Dr. Tawil due to a very intense back pain. After my first day of therapy I was already feeling 60% better. By the third day of therapy I was completely free of pain. Dr. Tawil was excellent. Her professionalism, knowledge and abilities made me feel comfortable but also helped me recover faster. Her entire staff is lovely, very competent and professional. I recommend Dr. Tawil without hesitation as the best therapist in the North Bergen area.

Before coming into Tawil Physical therapy office I was suffering from pain of the hip and glute area. My pain was hendering me from performing life duties and affecting work. On my first visit Dr. Tawil explained where my pain was coming from and suggested possible therapies to help me get back to normal. She performed a trigger point therapy to the targeted site of my pain. By the second session by pain decreased about 85%. After a couple of therapy sessions suggested I am currently living my life pain free. I’m greatful for Dr.Tawil. Her knowledge and passion to heal helped me get my normal life back.

I had surgery in my right knee & started coming here a couple of months ago … you begin to recuperate quickly after beginning your treatment. All the doctors are very attentive, caring & on point with your treatment. The front end manager Jenny is very accommodating & shows she cares about her patients. Recommend this place 100%!

I had hurt my back at work. I've never done physical theraphy before. 1st, the staff, Dr. Michele, Jenny, Hector, Priscilla and Taylor, are All Fantastic !! Very friendly, caring, and most of all, very good at what they do. The theraphy I get helps me more and more each time I go, very professional at thier jobs. I would highly recommend that if u need physical theraphy, Come to Tawil Physical Theraphy !!

I wasn't a huge fan of physical therapy until I visited Tawil Physical Therapy. Dr Michele and her amazing staff worked wonders on my shoulder and in record time. But I was more surprised when they were able to figure out what was wrong with my shoulder in a more precise and detailed manner than my own orthopedic Dr. But besides all their outstanding therapy services, the best care they provide is their humane touch and kindness. From the first moment you contact them, to the first time you walk through their door, Jenny will provide you with flawless and caring service that will let you know you have arrived to a place they really care about your well being. From then on, Dr Michele and HER ENTIRE STAFF just make you feel taken care of. Next time I need physical therapy I will request to use Tawil, and trust me, you should too.

Everybody is so friendly & helpful at this place! Michele Tawil especially, is very good at what she does as a physical therapist.
I asked her if she could give me some exercises to do at home in my free time, and she had them ready on paper for me by the time I saw her the next day. Filled with pictures & clear instructions.
I also asked when she thinks I would be able to make a full recovery to come back to running, & rather than an educated guess based on how much time would pass, she told me it would depend on my progress on how well I can get my knee to bend straight, which was so much more helpful & gave me the motivation I needed to do those take-home exercises so I could continue to make a smooth recovery.
She worked with me years ago in 2010-2011 when I was a 13-year old middle schooler suffering from a sports injury, and reuniting with her years later as a 27-year old athlete in 2024 has felt like the universe sending me a message that everything will be okay & I will make a full recovery back to fitness in due time. I have so much respect for her after our history together.
After the first session I had with her, my leg already started feeling progressively better, from having to drag it along the floor walk, like a zombie, to now being able to comfortably bend it like with my other knee. And it only got even better with each passing week that I got to see her twice a week.
I greatly recommend this place for your physical therapy needs if you live around the area and don't mind paying $90 a session, which I find is pretty fair & cheap compared to the PT places I'm familiar with from the NYC area.

Not only is this a great physical therapy place but the staff is super sweet. Michelle was a pleasure to work with and front desk is top notch. Jenny and the rest of the team are amazing. Dan and Hector are my absolute fave. Love those guys . They have the best technique that I haven't found anywhere else. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking to recover .

The best PT place in this area! The entire staff is truly caring & very attentive! Jenny is super friendly & very accommodating, makes you feel like you're at home. Dr. Tawil is very detail oriented & an amazing Dr. She treats everyone as a personal case instead of of just using a general plan. I started the MLS Laser treatment about 3 weeks ago & I feel like a completely different person! Almost all my pain has gone, it is a true miracle!

Dr. Tawil is amazing. She is not just a doctor of Physical Therapy, she is a healer. Her expert knowledge of modalities for pain relief, range of motion and rehabilitation is astounding. When I saw other Physical Therapist, I ended up back in bed with worse pain. After being treated by Dr. Tawil, I confidently walked back on to the tennis court and successfully ran down every ball. Hopped on the bus to NYC, up and down the subways – no problem. Her PT staff members are all encouraging, reassuring and delightful. Jenny, her office manager keeps everything moving from scheduling to insurance, and manages to do so with a smile and great sense of humor.
This might have been the first time I enjoyed PT.
Tawil Physical Therapy and Sports Performance is NOT like a typical PT establishment. It is NOT like going to a gym. Tawil is more ZEN, relaxing and spa like with a vibe that is fun and friendly.
PS: Of special note – Cold laser Therapy is remarkable. Although it is not covered by insurance, it is money very well spent. After one session, I slept through the night without pain, the first time in weeks.

I've been to many therapists over the years, for different maladies. Not one compares to the skill, care and caring of Michele Tawil. She is without question the best physical therapist doctor I've been to, and I've been to many. From NJ, NY and Florida.
they all focus on the same thing when you begin with then... the clock! Michele focuses on YOU! A thorough analysis of the pain, the surrounding areas, possible causes, and different levels of pain and discomfort. She develops a plan to address the pain and adjusts it as you progress. She pushes you to get the most out of the sessions, explains the treatments and benefits of her treatments as well as optional holistic therapies, (acupuncture, laser, massage, etc.). Dr Tawil's treatments have spoiled me to expect quality care focused on me not "Well, you're time is up for today". I've never experienced "clock watching" at Tawil Physical Therapy. IMHO, Dr Tawil has no peer. She is at the top of her game and the top of the list for physical therapists.

I absolutely love coming here! I had a sports related injury a few years ago and went to other places that were covered by my insurance. It was not the same level of service as I receive at Tawil. The PT’s & team truly are experts in the field. They take their time when working on you and also offer cupping, stim, and acupuncture! Additionally, Jenny’s customer service is a 10/10. She is always accommodating my hectic schedule. Definitely recommend.

I am very happy with the doctor and her entire team. I was 2 years old with pain in the three fingers of my left hand that reflected in my arm and breast. I had a car accident back in 2022 and was recommended here. The staff is amazing and super kind! Their treatment has already gotten me to feel so much better and my pain is almost all gone! This team is absolutely amazing. 10/10 recommendation. After my car accident I had some really sad run ins with healthcare “professionals”. Knowing that I needed physical therapy I was really worried! Calling Tawil’s office and speaking with Jenny made me feel so much better immediately. Her warm hospitality and loving ways really made the experience genuine before setting foot in the door. I was completely sold after Dom though. My physical therapist. She is amazing. Her energy , the way she listens, her hands. Pure magic. All of my other doctors were forcing me to take the pain medications and Dom helped me find a better way by telling me what worked best for her. All of the assistant are great. Can’t find a better office. I’m going to spend the next 6 weeks here 3 days a week and it’s certainly comforting to have something to look forward to. Thank you guys from the bottom of my heart

Unbelievable! I got worse after treatment they offered to stop. Before I started I confirmed with them insurance information including conpayment, deductable etc guess what I just got $519 bill for 2022!!! When I call them the answer I get ‘ oh I don't know who told you this!!!’

Landed at Tawil’s PT office due to an unfortunate car accident. They have made my rehabilitation journey so delightful and I actually look forward to my appointments! There is not one negative thing to say about Tawil. The staff here has gotten me through the hardest part of my recovery and some of my toughest days. I came to Tawil for a second opinion after having arthroscopic repair for a lateral bucket handle meniscus tear. I was 3 months post op and, after months of physical therapy, I was still lacking range of motion. My therapist’s, Dom& Michelle, were able to help me gain 10 degrees range of motion. But, ultimately I needed to have a second surgery. The staff here pointed me in the right direction, recommended a new orthopedist. And now, after 2 months of surgery, I’ve regained my range of motion and I have everyone here to thank for it. This team is special and I highly recommend them for their knowledge and expertise!

Tore my ACL my senior year and when I came to Tawil I could barely walk. I felt defeated, weak, and lacked the motivation to try to get better, but the environment and therapists such as Matt and Dom pushed me to do better. I improved at a rapid rate, within a month I was back at the gym, within two months I was running again, and within four months I was playing basketball again with my friends. Today, I feel amazing and my leg feels like nothing ever happened. Everyone who works at Tawil is a saint and I have a lot of love for all of them for helping me get better.

I honestly didn’t really believe in P.T. before coming here! I am truly satisfied with their services & care, I recommend them to anyone that is looking for a good quality facility where you will actually feel better after treatment! I came to this place with a horrible neck pain and migraine, so I was looking for a nice place where they will help me with my problem, this place is amazing Doctors are really good, the Physical therapists like Dominique, Dr. Jhonatan, the therapy aides are amazing they created a plan for improved my pain management and this improved 100%. Nothing but high praise for this establishment, where the staff are courteous and overly generous mood form a place of comfort for your discomfort! In other words , would recommend coming here to anybody who is need of such services a thousand percent. First and foremost it’s a wonderful atmosphere to rehabilitate. The staff are both courteous and most importantly professional. Jenny is amazing in facilitating scheduling for those of us who have unusual schedules. Overall I have to say that I am grateful to have found this facility which leaves me feeling better on the outside and the inside.

For years, I was going into Manhattan for physical therapy thinking there wasn't a place as good as the one I was going to in NJ. But I was so wrong. Michelle is an excellent doctor. She knows her stuff and has the best personality. I love the whole vibe there. I highly recommend it.

Definitely the a phenomenal physical therapy center which provides a speedy and effective recovery. Not to mention the helpful and amazing team here. They also offer massages, and I personally think it was a great experience it relieved me of a ton of stress and body aches. Overall an amazing place to go to.

Great atmosphere here, all staff are very kind and polite. Welcoming to all new patients. This will now be my 3rd time coming to Tawil physical therapy & Sports performance for my ankle sprains. They have recently added a laser machine to regenerate ligaments and tendons that helps you progress on getting better even faster. Very helpful machine, I recommend anyone should take the chance to use it there and of course go to Tawil physical therapy & Sport performance.

Dr. Michelle has been taking care of our family for about 3 years. She is the best! Dr. Michelle starts with an assessment and reviews your exercises to be sure you are doing them correctly. She is kind, gentle and caring. Jenny in the front desk is great, always with great energy. I highly recommend Dr. Michelle, and the whole team at Tawil Physical Therapy and Sports Performance.

This is a great place for PT. The medical staff is knowledgeable, professional and friendly. I had thorough assessments upon starting therapy and have seen positive results. They even accommodated me when I had to bring my toddler with me! This crew is top notch. They have gone above and beyond my expectations. The front desk receptionist is extremely nice as well.

What a great crew! Every member of the staff seems to have your health and well being as their priority. I’ve had the opportunity of meeting the different members of the crew throughout my recovery and never found a dip in quality. You can tell they find joy in seeing your health improve. Usually physical therapy is a drag and that eats into other plans, but I’m finding myself looking forward to my appointment with Tawil.

Being a patient at NYULANGONE lead me to believe that excellent PT is contained to NYC. I could not be more wrong. Tawil’s experienced team explains all details and the therapy is top flight. A great choice.

Hands down the best Physical Therapy joint in the entire Northeast! They take serious 1 on 1 interest in your recovery. There is not a Physical Therapy group in NYC that can beat them! And I've been to all of them! They also have the MLS Laser for the most amazing therapeutic healing for pain in every type of insury or arthritic issue. 100 Stars!

I started going to Tawil Physical Therapy after a catastrophic injury to my ankle and knee. From the outset I was cared for with apparent concern for my immediate and long term recovery goals. Within a few short weeks the progress I had made astounded even my orthopedist and restored my own hope in once again being able to do the things I had long taken for granted. The entire staff is friendly, compassionate and genuinely interested in my progress and success. Everyone with whom I have worked personally has been excellent, but Matthew stands out even beyond them. The exercises and programs that have been tailored to my particular weaknesses and strengths, and the hands on massage and manipulation to foster blood flow and soft tissue recovery have been nothing short of amazing. While I still have a fairly long road to recovery, Tawil has made the road a bit shorter and certainly smoother. For that I am eternally grateful. They've helped give me back a part of my life I feared I'd never see again. I cannot possibly recommend Tawil Physical Therapy enough.

I was very happy with the treatment I received. Very professional and caring. They assessed the problem and set up a program to address it. Very knowledgeable and efficient.
